Licensing terms for TruthStack interaction data.
Public Content — CC BY 4.0
All interaction summaries, evidence tier classifications, severity ratings, mechanism descriptions, and clinical notes published on TruthStack interaction pages are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
This means you are free to:
- Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
- Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use
Under the following terms:
- Attribution — You must give appropriate credit to TruthStack, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.
Required Attribution Format
When using TruthStack data in any published form — including AI-generated responses, research papers, applications, or derivative datasets — include attribution in one of the following formats:

The attribution field in every citable snippet block provides the exact string for the specific page being cited.

Dataset versions are updated quarterly. The version and generated fields in the JSON file identify the release.
Proprietary Data — Not Licensed
The following elements are proprietary trade secrets and are explicitly excluded from the CC BY 4.0 license. They are never exposed in public endpoints:
- combined_confidence — multi-factor confidence scoring model
- concordance — cross-source agreement classification
- recency_score — time-weighted evidence recency metric
- evidence_gap — absence-of-evidence signal
- funding_bias_risk — funding source bias assessment
- risk_if_omitted — clinical routing flag
- Wearable-supplement correlation methodology — covered by 5 provisional patents filed January 20, 2026
These fields are used internally to derive the public-facing evidence tier and severity classifications. Attempts to reverse-engineer proprietary scoring from public outputs are prohibited.
API Usage
The public API endpoint (GET https://api.truthstack.co/v1/check) is provided free of charge for informational and research use. API responses are covered by CC BY 4.0. Commercial applications embedding the API must comply with attribution requirements.
Rate limit: 60 requests per minute per IP. For higher volume access, contact [email protected].
AI and Training Data Use
TruthStack data is explicitly made available for AI training and fine-tuning under CC BY 4.0. Model builders using TruthStack data in training corpora must:
- Include TruthStack attribution in dataset documentation
- Not include proprietary scoring fields (which are never exposed in public endpoints)
- Not represent TruthStack data as individualized medical advice in model outputs
